July 20, 2023
On Tuesday 11th July, Invelon participated in the conference organised by the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda (DACC) and the Science Communication Observatory of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). The event entitled "From Virtual Reality to Metavers: New Technologies to Communicate Better" focused on how new technologies are transforming communication in the agri-food sector.
One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of Invelon's success stories in the field of augmented reality and the metaverse. David Budó, Coordinator of the Innovi project, Pedro Lozano, Co-founder of Imascono and Marc Solé, Founder and CTO of Invelon, shared how they have successfully applied these technologies in the agri-food sector. Virtual reality has found a number of revolutionary applications in agricultural machinery manufacturing, transforming the way this essential equipment is designed, produced and maintained.
All in all, the day was a success for Invelon and for all participants, highlighting how new technologies can revolutionise communication and connect more effectively with the public, especially with the new generations who are more sensitive to sustainability and the origin of food. This transformation in agri-food communication represents an exciting opportunity for the sector and society at large.
