INVELON drives the digital transformation of the Barris Nord arena in Lleida with a 40 m² central video scoreboard

This 2026/27 season, fans attending the Barris Nord basketball arena to cheer on Liga Endesa ACB team Força Lleida will experience the games from a completely renewed perspective. Those who look up will find a large LED Digital Cube suspended above the center of the court, an iconic feature of the great arenas of international professional basketball.
This technological milestone has been driven by INVELON, as part of our firm commitment as the club’s Official Technology Partner, an agreement that extends our collaboration for seven seasons (until 2033), providing technological consulting and support to the city’s club.
This is Barris Nord’s new technological gem
INVELON has been responsible for the financing, acquisition, installation, configuration and commissioning of this new central curved screen. The result is a state-of-the-art audiovisual solution designed to deliver dynamic, real-time content, significantly enhancing the fan experience. The technical specifications of the video scoreboard are:
- Total LED surface area of 40 m², distributed across 8 faces, arranged in a suspended rectangular structure measuring approximately 4.5 × 2.5 meters.
- 3 × 2.5 m screens with UslimIII3.9 technology.
- 4 main curved faces with dynamic 1 × 2.5 m corners featuring UHF3.9 technology.
The main functionalities for which the video scoreboard is intended to be used are the display of advanced statistics, video and real-time replays of plays, the broadcasting of informative and promotional audiovisual content, the projection of 3D graphics, the creation of atmosphere animations and commercial activations.
The curvature: the differentiating element
Unlike traditional cubes with rigid, flat edges, the new video scoreboard features a rectangular format and curved screens at its corners that provide visual continuity across the entire structure.
