  • The employers' association has recognised INVELON and INTECH3D for creating technological solutions providing value through innovation, cost reduction, digitalisation and 4.0 solutions

Lleida, 28 June 2022. The PIMEC Awards recognise the companies INVELON and INTECH3D, member companies of INGROUP, with the PIMEC Youth Award for their exponential growth in recent years in Lleida and their ability to create technological solutions 4.0 providing added value through innovation, cost reduction, digitisation, flexibility and improved efficiency in the implementation of industrial procedures.

INGROUP received the award at an event organised at the Camp Nou, as part of the 35th edition of the PIMES Awards and coinciding with the National Business Day in Catalonia and the United Nations MSMEs Day, which distinguished the best business initiatives developed in Catalonia during 2021 in different areas.

The Lleida-based holding company is made up of different technology companies specialising in 3D printing, virtual, augmented and mixed reality, artificial intelligence, big data and the Internet of Things (IoT). The past year 2021 has been especially relevant for INVELON and INTECH3D, as they have developed virtual Metaverse projects for companies such as Fm-Grupo, Tecnocat, Up&Bike, Rotecna, Vall Companys and Grífols. They have also managed to programme and develop new modules for their own printer cluster management software, PRINT&GO, such as artificial intelligence and artificial vision, which allows them to detect 3D printing problems through the printer's camera. On the other hand, and also in relation to technology, this year they have combined 3D printing technologies with automated robotic arm technologies in order to automate the entire manufacturing process with the printers.

The first pillars of INGROUP started to be built in 2015. That same year INTECH3D was founded to focus on innovation in one of the most unknown technologies at that time, 3D printing, and to provide added value through applied innovation, cost reduction, digitisation of knowledge and improved efficiency in the implementation of industrial processes.

Today INGROUP has a team of 40 professionals, with more than 3,500 customers and an international presence in 14 countries with distributors, delegates and concessions that market the technological software product that the companies INVELON and INTECH3D manufacture. With a turnover of close to 5 million euros, INGROUP is a benchmark in Industry 4.0 technologies; 3D printing, virtual, augmented and mixed reality and the Internet of Things (IoT), and aims to consolidate its position as the largest national company in Spain specialising in cutting-edge technologies. During 2021, 30 national and international partners and distributors have been signed and software and hardware products have been marketed and exported to 33 different countries.

The ceremony was presided over by Pedro Sánchez, President of the Spanish Government and Pere Aragonès, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and was also attended by different personalities such as Xavier Caufapé, President of PIMEC Lleida, Josep Crespín, Delegate of the Spanish Government in Lleida, Bernat Solé, Delegate of the Government of the Generalitat in Lleida, and Joan Talarn, President of the Diputació de Lleida, among others.
