Clínica Mi NovAliança is a reference healthcare center with a history of decades in Lleida and Barcelona, committed to the well-being and recovery of its patients.

In its ongoing quest to improve rehabilitation services, the clinic has worked to develop innovative solutions that allow patients to recover their mobility, as well as their life quality, even without having to visit the clinic's installations.

The need to address patients’physical and geographic barriers

In many cases, patients in need of physical rehabilitation face geographical barriers that make their treatment more difficult due to the inability to travel to a health center.

This fact can delay patients' recovery, generating frustration and slowing down their return to an active and autonomous life.

Our solution and technological contribution

Given this need, Clínica Mi NovAliança trusted us in developing technological solutions to allow their patients continue with their rehabilitation from the comfort of their own home.

This way, in INVELON we designed an innovative rehabilitation application that enables patients to perform their treatment remotely.

Through Virtual Reality glasses, such as the Pico 4 Enterprise, patients are able to complete the required exercises for their recovery with no need to travel to their health center. This solution lets physiotherapists configure, remotely, the exercises and the level of difficulty according to the patient's stage of rehabilitation.

This application offers a variety of exercises, ranging from shoulder flexion to abduction, in order to work different movements and areas of the body. In addition, the physiotherapist is able to adjust aspects such as the angle in which the patient should perform the movements, ensuring a customized and efficient rehabilitation process, adapting to each patient's specific needs.

The result: Effective remote rehabilitation therapy, personalized treatment and motivating recovery.

Thanks to the implementation of these technologies, patients at Clínica Mi NovAliança have managed to continue their rehabilitation process without leaving home, facilitating continuous and constant treatment.

This project has been very effective, as it has not only improved patients' mobility but also allowed them to recover their autonomy and perform their exercises in an enjoyable and motivating way, forgetting pain and frustration for a few moments.
