The solution implemented: SHOWROOM VR

Thanks to Showroom VR, TMI can present the client with the 3D model of the machine in Virtual Reality before manufacturing it. This lets the client see the machine's accessibility, all aspects related to ergonomics, access points, maintenance adjustment, among others.

About the company TMI

TMI is a company specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of complete packaging lines, made up of dosing equipment, bagging equipment, palletising equipment and bundling equipment. It has a very clear goal of offering customised solutions to its clients.

What does TMI need?

The challenge TMI set us was that, thanks to Virtual Reality, they could improve the design development phase of their machines. That way, by using Virtual Reality or VR headsets, their R&D team could preview the 3D prototypes of their machines, and TMI could present them to its clients before manufacturing them.

It was not an easy task, since this company offers the highest quality standards to its clients and has several machinery lines, including equipment for dosing, bagging, palletising, overwrapping and weighing. As you can see in the video, they make very different machines, with the added challenge that they provide customised solutions for each of their clients.

Benefits

At TMI, when they are in the development phase of new prototypes, the 3D design tools they use let them see the machine in detail, but they are insufficient when they reach the client's validation phase. Thanks to Showroom VR, these technical aspects add very high value to the technical solution during the validation process and achieve very high client satisfaction.

Another benefit that TMI has found internally is that Showroom VR also helps assembly technicians to decide which parts to pre-assemble and which to assemble earlier or later.

  • Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality give the client control over the manufacture of their machinery.
  • Boosts advertising and sales actions.
  • Optimises user training.

Client testimonial

At TMI, we contacted Invelon and were able to send them the 3D model, which in this case was a bagging machine, and they quickly created a space where they placed the machine and gave us the chance to check it. They put everything on the table and prepared it all very quickly. When we sent them the 3D, we had it ready within a week and the modifications within a couple of days, and they were always available to follow up on the project. The experience has been 100% satisfactory and we are delighted to work with them again.
