Estamp
Estamp connects its plants thanks to Mixed Reality with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and HoloLens 2

The solution implemented: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Remote Assist
The solution implemented was Microsoft Dynamics 365 Remote Assist, together with Microsoft's HoloLens 2 Mixed Reality headset, with the aim of driving the company's digitalisation across all its plants and responding to all its customers.
With the integration of HoloLens 2 and Microsoft Dynamics 365, at Estamp's different sites, operators can connect remotely and in real time using glasses and Mixed Reality software to carry out internal audits and validate processes at other plants.
This technology allows the user to interact with virtual elements, such as graphic indications over the real space, shared files or shared screens, to resolve incidents remotely and in real time.
About Estamp
Estamp is a world leader in the development and production of parts for the automotive industry. Its goal is to help its customers become more competitive by manufacturing automotive parts based on metal stampings for thermal, thermoacoustic and electromagnetic insulation.
The company works with the leading brands in the automotive industry, with a clear commitment to innovation and to sustainable development and clean mobility, thus adapting to the changes of a sector as changeable as automotive.
What does Estamp need?
Estamp needed a tool that would allow it to carry out internal audits and provide remote assistance between its different plants, located around the world, so as to save on travel and carry out validation processes much more quickly and effectively.
The company therefore required a solution for solving problems in real time hands-free, and in this way achieve maximum efficiency in remote inspections. An effective solution that would also allow the maximum interaction through videos, screenshots and annotations.
Opting for Mixed Reality with the HoloLens 2 headset and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Remote Assist solution has meant a major change for the company in terms of productivity, as they avoid unnecessary travel and reduce costs with remote validations and inspections from the different plants they have around the world.
Benefits
Mixed Reality technology makes it possible to incorporate new tools, data and instructions more quickly, offering differentiating value to customers and/or technicians.
This technology is implemented in far less time, so the learning curve is reduced exponentially. In addition, Mixed Reality's functionalities help make the production phase faster and more efficient.
In turn, with Mixed Reality, you can access hundreds of internal data points from anywhere in the world or easily create your own connectors.
