The solution implemented: Coordination and configuration of more than 600 Virtual Reality devices

A few months ago, Cupra organised the "Unstoppable Impulse" event to present its new car models with a different and innovative approach. To achieve this, the brand sought the help of Invelon to coordinate and prepare the deployment of Virtual Reality headsets at the Terramar Racetrack in Sitges.

In collaboration with PICO XR, one of our Virtual Reality headset suppliers, we chose the Pico Neo 3 Pro Virtual Reality headset model for the event.

At Invelon we prepared the coordination and configuration of more than 600 devices, one for each attendee, so that the audience could enjoy the experience smoothly, in a coordinated way and simultaneously. Another important point was to ensure a user-friendly experience, guaranteeing an adequate WiFi connection.

About Cupra

Cupra is a Spanish car brand that specialises in manufacturing high-performance sports vehicles. Founded in 2018 as a sub-brand of Seat, Cupra has become an independent brand that offers a range of sports models with a distinctive design and advanced technology.

The brand seeks to break traditional design boundaries, offering a dynamic and powerful aesthetic that reflects a passion for speed and performance. Cupra vehicles integrate state-of-the-art systems and advanced technology features that provide an exceptional driving experience. The brand's focus is on constant innovation, with a clear aim of offering exciting, unique and cutting-edge experiences.

What does Cupra need?

The brand, aware of its goal of doing something different and memorable, was looking for a strategy that would let them showcase their new models in an impactful and surprising way. The main idea was to go beyond a simple showcase: they wanted attendees to be able to experience the real thrill of driving the new Cupra models. And that is what happened: attendees were offered a completely immersive and unique experience.

On the day of the event we coordinated the space and the devices in which attendees immersed themselves in a virtual environment that simulated driving the Cupra UrbanRebel through the streets of Barcelona. The public's response was impressive and the coordination of more than 600 devices proved to be a great success, becoming one of the European events with the largest number of Virtual Reality headsets synchronised and running at the same time.

Benefits

In the client's words, The virtual reality solution they provided for our brand event was impressive and memorable. Coordinating more than 600 headsets to work simultaneously is no easy task. The result was that attendees were amazed by the experience. We are grateful for their help in presenting our new model in an innovative and exciting way.

Integrating virtual reality into events offers a number of notable benefits. Firstly, the brand managed to present its new models in a completely immersive way, creating a lasting impact on attendees. They had the opportunity to experience the thrill of driving the latest Cupra model in a virtual environment.

In addition, the coordination of more than 600 headsets was essential, as it allowed attendees to enjoy the experience simultaneously and in a coordinated way, enriching the experience and encouraging group interaction among attendees.

Another relevant benefit was the increase in brand awareness and the improvement of brand positioning. By using Virtual Reality as an innovative tool, Cupra managed to stand out in its market. This resulted in a lasting memory among attendees, strengthening the emotional connection with the brand and its positive perception.
