Clínica Mi NovAliança
Boost rehabilitation from home with Virtual Reality to overcome geographical barriers and speed up recovery.

Clínica Mi NovAliança is a leading healthcare centre committed to the wellbeing and recovery of its patients.
In its constant search to improve rehabilitation services, the clinic has worked to develop innovative solutions that allow patients to regain their mobility and quality of life, even without having to travel to its premises.
Overcoming physical barriers
Patients who require physical rehabilitation often face geographical barriers that hinder their treatment because they are unable to travel to a healthcare centre.
This can delay patients' recovery, causing frustration and slowing their return to an active, independent life.
Faced with this need, Clínica Mi NovAliança trusted us to develop a technology solution that would allow patients to continue their rehabilitation from the comfort of their own homes.

Our technological contribution
Using Virtual Reality headsets, patients can carry out the exercises they need for their recovery without having to travel to their health centre. This solution allows the physiotherapist to configure, remotely, the exercises and the level of difficulty according to the rehabilitation stage the patient is at.
The application offers a variety of exercises ranging from shoulder flexion to abduction, in order to work different movements and areas of the body. In addition, the physiotherapist can adjust aspects such as the angle at which the patient must perform the movements, ensuring a rehabilitation process that is personalised, efficient and adaptable to each patient's individual needs.

Remote rehabilitation
Thanks to the implementation of these technologies, patients at Clínica Mi NovAliança have been able to continue their rehabilitation without leaving home, enabling continuous and consistent treatment.
It is a highly effective project because, in addition to improving patients' mobility, it has enabled them to regain their independence and carry out their exercises in an entertaining and motivating way, momentarily forgetting about pain and frustration.

Accessibility
Patients can carry out their rehabilitation without having to travel to a healthcare centre, which removes geographical barriers for those with limited mobility.
Motivation
Interacting with a playful, engaging virtual environment helps patients stay motivated and focused on their recovery process.
Personalisation
Physiotherapists can adapt the exercises and the stages of rehabilitation to each patient's specific needs, ensuring more effective, personalised treatment.
Convenience
Patients can do the exercises at the time and place that suits them best, giving them greater flexibility and convenience.
