Aquavia Spa
Immersive Experience: Showroom VR to present Aquavia Spa's Spas and Swim Spas with Virtual Reality

The solution implemented: SHOWROOM VR
The project developed for Aquavia Spa arises from the need to convey to potential users a unique sensory experience with the Spa in Virtual Reality as the protagonist, thanks to Showroom VR.
About AQUAVIA SPA
Aquavia Spa is the leading manufacturer of Spas and Swim Spas in Europe, based in Barcelona. Intensive innovation and an absolute guarantee of quality have allowed Aquavia Spa to complete more than thirty years of successful operation, and they continue to commit to in-house Spa manufacturing, going against the global trend of offshoring.
They conceptualise, design, manufacture, test and market their Spas through an on-demand, fully customised process that allows them to deliver in less than three weeks. This agility is made possible by strict scheduling and LEAN processes, but also by the strength of a highly trained and experienced professional team.
Aquavia Spa manufactures Spas for private and public use, Spas for any type and intensity of use, but always geared towards exclusivity and maximising performance. From their 5,000 m² Spa factory, more than 2,000 Spas and Swim Spas leave each year for 40 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
What does AQUAVIA SPA need?
Starting from 3D models of two of their products, we developed two different environments. An indoor space and an outdoor one, with different settings: daytime and night-time. The main objective was to create a tool offering an immersive and descriptive experience of the product: seeing the product in detail, understanding its dimensions and projecting it into a specific space.
Benefits
The solution has been presented at international trade fairs in the sector, and the main benefit it has brought them is increasing the perceived value of their brand among their customers, who value investment in technology very positively.
Internally, it has allowed them to open up new frontiers of product research: first, the development of the tool, adding tracking so that Virtual Reality and the physical product can be combined, with the aim of turning this application into one more sales tool for use with customers, who could experience VR and its environment, and the real ergonomics of the product, its feel and even the water level when you immerse yourself. In addition, future projects are also being considered to develop the solution for R&D projects.
